I haven't been exercising as I should... but damn it, I am gonna try!

So, today I officially joined the gym at my work.  They are right downstairs in my office, have classes at lunch and after work like kickboxing, yoga, muscle-pump etc...  I joined more for the classes than the actual gym.

I have been so lax with exercise, I was taking zumba but only an hour a week.  I need to tone my muscles esp now that I am maintaining.  Plus, I love food...always will.. and if I want to eat as I am, I have to exercise!

So, I am going to try and take a few classes a week and do this for me!  I tend to eat better when I exercise too, so it's a win win.... Now, I just have to make it part of my routine which will be the hardest part...  BUT... it is SO convenient (again right downstairs), and cheap... only $21 a month!  I need to get off my tush and just do it!!  I will start on Tues's kickboxing class!!

i'm so proud of you!!!  would be a wonderful thing to have a gym that close!!!  won't take long and it will be second nature to work out!!

Good for you.  Being close will be great and that price is wonderful.

My DD does kickboxing in the winter when she can't do much outside and says it really kicks butt.  I love Zumba but have stopped with my knee problems. 

I still go to Curves but I do best when I can do it early in the day and get it over with.  In the summer I want to drive the ponies early while it is cool and so I don't get to Curves as often.

good for you! that is pretty convenient..I just bumped up my exercise to the 45-60 minute range per day..so glad I did have so much more energy feels awesome!!

That's awesome!  Very convenient and its good you're taking advantage of it. I'm a procrastinator too when it comes to exercise... but once you start with it it will be much easier to continue.
