1.)   What kind of car do you drive?

I just traded my Mini cooper for a hyundia Tuscon and my Silverado truck for a Dodge 2500.

2.)   Did you have a favorite teacher in school?

Miss Tahata in the 3rd grade.

3.)  Victories/Challenges this week?

Still losing, slowly.  I hit normal BMI then bounced back up but the over all trend is down and that is good.  Got my new-to-me trailer, but then needed a new-to-me truck to pull it with.
Challenges, busy with work, and life.  Dealing with car dealers but it all worked out and I should have the truck with hitch and the trailer with brakes all ready to roll this afternoon.

4.)  Plans for the weekend?

Driving the ponies and going to a wedding on Sat.  Sunday, driving ponies and meeting Southernlady and the Asheville folks.

1) I drive a Toyota Corolla--great gas mileage for my commute.

2) My favorite teacher was my 8th & 9th grade history teacher.  He was passionate about history, and that made the difference.

3) Victories: I wish I could think of something.  Challenges: PMS is causing me to want to graze eat.

4) Plans are to find some shelving for our basement and to replace some broken blinds in my kitchen.  Oh well--not all weekends can be exciting.

2) I had several favorites but I think my 5th grade math teach was the best.
3) Victory was catching my little weight gain and figuring out it was the full strength hormones.
4) Plans this weekend. Stanley Steamer is coming by tomorrow. lol

1.)   What kind of car do you drive?  I usually drive a KIA Sportage convertible but once in a while I drive my daughter's Chevy Malibu but next week I will be driving the Malibu full time.  I can't afford to insure both vehicles and we are going to be going to CA soon and I would rather drive the Malibu since it rides better and gets a little better mileage.

2.)   Did you have a favorite teacher in school?  I'll never forget Ms. Sprague.  She was my english teacher in high school and always made me feel smart.  Only teacher I really remember, too.

3.)  Victories/Challenges this week?  Continuing with maintenance.  Always a challenge.  Don't get paid until the end of the week so that should be a challenge to make it to the end of the month with no money.

4.)  Plans for the weekend?  Going to dinner with my son and his wife for my daughter's birthday and then to the other son's house to continue the celebration.  Tomorrow I am taking her to the Rocky Horror Show with some of her friends.  It's a midnight show so it should be interesting to try to stay up that long.  Sunday going to my boyfriend's house so he can take my daughter driving.  I can't take driving with a teen ager so he is doing it, bless his heart.

1. I generally drive a 2005 Mustang GT convertible - Legend Lime Green, with charcoal glitter rally stripes that have purple and turquoise flecks.  Gorgeous!  We also have DH's Great White Whale: a Ford F-350 dually diesel truck, and his very first car: a 1965 Corvette Stingray coupe with a big block engine.  Yeah, we're gear heads and we do car shows when we're not on the boat.

2. I had lots of favorite teachers - of course now I can't remember all the names! LOL!  But my 4th grade teacher had us dissect frogs (it's the perfect age: we're not grossed out but we are fascinated); my 6th grade teacher (that one I remember: Mrs. Harris) really integrated art and music with the core reading/social studies classes, and back in the 60's that was RARE; my 7th grade science teacher, Mr. Paull, who let a group of us design space ships (we were big on Star Trek) and actually critiqued us via science, not aesthetics; my 8th grade art teacher, Mr. Swanson, who encouraged me to mix ink with water colors; my freshman bio teacher, Mr. Mundy, who had the most understandable explanation I've ever heard of blood pressure/heart rate and made bio fun; my choir director in HS, Mr. Dobler, who taught me to use my voice as an instrument and never let me slide by on general music knowledge; my college methods teacher, Dr. Jackson, who had a very dry sense of humor and was always ready to help anyone who asked - although she looked and sounded like Judge Judy and scared most of my classmates!  I'm sure there were more, but those are the biggies right now.

3. victories - had my second skating lesson for this summer, and managed to do two-foot turns on my own, as well as cut backs (skating backwards around a circle, with the outside foot swirling out and then in front of the inside foot which then pushes off.  You've seen them do it if you watch skating on TV, and it looks smooth and easy but it AIN'T, at least for me).  Coach says next week 3 turns - which scare me, but I can't wait!  Challenges - I really REALLY want Cold Stone Creamery ice cream.  However, i know it's a head craving, so I'm going to wait a week or so and see if I still want if.  If I do, I'll go get the sinless ice cream they have, and just have some.

4. plans for the weekend - tomorrow we have DH's boss' birthday party, and on Sunday, the boat!  I wish we could do the boat both days, but boss' wife called and really wants us and one other work couple there because the guys all started out together and used to hang together, so we need to go.

1.)   What kind of car do you drive? Chevy Equinox - I love it because it is a little bigger than a car, but smaller than a SUV.

2.)   Did you have a favorite teacher in school?  My 5th of 6th grade math teacher - Mrs. Battle.  We would get to go visit her during the summer and she was so nice to us.

3.)  Victories/Challenges this week?  I got back to my lowest weight for a day.  Snacking has become a great challenge to me lately.

4.)  DD, DGD#2 and I are on our girls trip this week.  We are at my parents house right now.  We leave tomorrow to go to her Sister in laws and going shopping Monday and home Tuesday...  We are having a great time.  DH told me this morning he was sooo lonely!!!
