Maintainers, How Often Do You Weigh Yourself?

I was weighing once a week.  Then after a good 2 years in maintenance I got slack on it.  Then I would only step on the scale when the spirits moved me.  Recently my pants were getting tight and I stepped on to find a 12 pound gain.

Ummm...whoops!   So I guess it's back to once a week for me although in reality it will probably be more like once a day until I get these 12 pounds off.

Our psyche is so weird about this kind of thing!

That is my story, too, except instead of 12lbs it is more like 50 or 100.  I think I am going to stick with the daily weighing to keep me honest.  I know me and when I start eating bad things I hide the scale and go into denial about it until it has gotten so out of had that I am overwhelmed and can't do a thing.

I'm in maintenance at this point since it's impossible for me to lose any more weight.  I weigh every day, but I don't let the number rule my emotions.  I gave myself a 5 lb window and if I go over that I cut back on calories or up the exercise to get back into my range.
