Maintainers, How Often Do You Weigh Yourself?

I was just checking my records and it looks like I have officially been on maintenance for about 5 weeks.  My weight has flucuated from 120 to 117.  Right now it is 119.  While I was losing I didn't really flucuate.  My weight would stay stable to the ounce and then I would have a drop and then it would stay stable again.  I rarely had a gain.  Now it is up and down.  I don't want to make myself crazy.  I am thinking of just weighing myself once a week on Sundays.  How often do you weigh after you are done losing weight?

I'm still an every day (sometimes twice a day) weigher, BUT I only count my weekly average weight to figure out if I'm maintaining or moving.

since I'm a data geek, it works for me but not for a lot of others.

When I was maintaining at 123 it was everyday.  Since I've gained some, its every few days or once a week.  I don't obsess about it like I used to.  Of course when you don't like the number you're seeing,  you don't want to see it as often.

That is exactly what I am afraid of.  I used to weigh myself every day after my first surgery but when I started gaining I started avoiding the scale.
I think I am going to continue to weigh myself daily and keep track that way.  Since my eating is pretty consistent I shouldn't get any surprises but I know how things have a way of sneaking in there so I will continue to monitor.

I weigh myself 3 - 4 times a week.   I was one of those scale obsessed people when I was in the actively loosing stage.  It was BAD!!!!   I was weighing myself multiple times a day..... even at night..... the middle of the night when I would go on a potty run   lol.    Congrats on making it to the maintenance stage!   Cindy

The way I lost sounds exactly like you.  I never gained the whole time I was losing and I never lost big amounts in a day.  The scales just moved down steadily but once I hit maintenance I started bouncing within 3 pounds on any given day.

I weigh every morning and if I rush off and forget then it just gets missed that day.  I never weigh myself any other time during the day.  Some people like to know their afternoon weight but no me.

I also have gained a couple of pounds since I've gotten further out but I'm not going to stop weighing because I think that would be a big mistake for me.  I'm trying so hard to figure out what's going to work for me since they honeymoon period is definitely over.

Well, I guess I'm saying I'm officially maintaining now.  I weigh everyday still unless I forget or I am out of town.  I do much better if I keep a really close eye on it.  When I start slipping, I stop weighing every day so I want to watch it pretty closely.
