Menus and Miles Friday June 24th
It's Friday....YEAH!!!! Someone started a post on food trackers and since I'm not crazy about the fitday.com that I've been using I thought I'd give some of the suggestions a try. I found one called fitclick and I love it!! It's got me fired up again to figure out my totals which I think will help me drop the couple pounds that I've put on. I know a couple of pounds isn't much but I'm so afraid those couple will turn into a few and then turn into a lot.
We are having a huge fundraiser for our little cheerleader who was in a bad car accident this afternoon so I'm not sure if I'll be on later today. It started out at one of our Mom's salon with haircuts for a donation, to a bake sale, dinner, massages, raffle baskets, DJ, etc. If you think about her please continue to Pray. Angelina has come from no chance of survival to smiling, wiggling her toes, squeezing hands, and talking. She still has a high fever so they haven't been able to operate on her spinal injury but she is out of ICU and has been moved to the Neurology Section.
During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize that's even happening because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that, "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

Hi Roz! Continuing to pray for little Angelina. So good to hear she's doing better.
I was moseying around online today and tripped across something for fitclick. I didn't go into it but thought about checking it out. I definitely will now I know you love it.
I am paying today for eating popcorn last night then following up with a glass of milk. OMG - I was hurting. My tummy was growling and making all kinds of sounds. I didn't really dump but felt like it was maybe a mini-dump. I definitely have a grouchy pouch today.
I found a new vitamin organizer yesterday at GNC. It has detachable days, and has an am/pm side. Its a little bigger than my old one, but that's what I needed.
Having a day at home catching up on laundry and other stuff I've neglected for the past week while gone.

Sorry your tummy is grouchy today. I usually don't have any trouble with popcorn. Did you put butter or flavoring on it?
I need to get Don a detachable organizer because he takes pills to work with him. I'll have to check that out.

oooh Roz, I may have to check out fitclick, I use fitday and I am not very happy with it. BUT, all my favs and custom foods are already in fitday...
