Hey Everyone...long time no talk.  I am nine months out as of two days ago.  I am done just short of 100 pounds.  These last 30 aren't going anywhere.

AHHH I work out alot

Mondays-Personal Training and Total Conditioning
Tuesdays-Spin, Pilates, and Bootcamp
Wednesday-Pilates and Bootcamp
Thursday- Pilates and Bootcamp
Friday-Personal Training. Pilates and Total Conditioning
Saturday REST
Sunday Yoga and Cardio

My calories are anywhere between 900-1300

The pounds just keep staying...i get a little smaller for instance I'm a size 6 now and i notice my pants are a little looser....but the scale is stuck i swear

I started the 5 day pouch test today hopefully to jumpstart myself :)
  hope everyone is doing well

Sounds like you're doing well exercise wise. Maybe you should increase your protein shakes. I guess you'll do that on the pouch test though. Good luck!

How tall are you?  If you are in a 6 now and they are getting loose, are you being realistic?

Howdy,

I am also nine months out, an avid exerciser and have lost just under 100 lbs; however, I have no real goal number to achieve. Why don't you use this time start accepting the body you have and what it can do. I have to tell myself this quite often. My current thinking is that if I stay this weight I am fine but if I lose more... bonus. I have not lost much weight in weeks but I have lost inches and am now firmly in a size 4. WT-Heck. I still don't see myself as thin but I feel strong.

Since you are exercising, you are probably building muscle and building muscle causes small weight gains or no loss on the scale. But as you have seen, you still can lose inches and sizes. You should be proud of this. You are not only losing you are getting toned.

Also, remember that your new physically fit lighter weight body will adapt to exercise and routines very quickly. You might need to shake up your schedule a little. Try a few more rest days ever few months. You will lose the most weight on your rest days. Maybe add intensity or weight. Talk to your trainer about it.

And last but not least, make sure you are eating and drinking enough to fuel all that exercise. I would not be limiting any more calories with the amount of working out you do but that is just me.

You also might want to visit the exercise forum on OH. Now those people exercise and know what the body needs to keep going.

I wish you luck in achieving your goals.

If you workout a lot and your clothes are getting smaller, you are losing fat and gaining muscle. This is AWESOME. Anything you do at this point to change things up risks losing that muscle which will put you in the hole in the long run.

I know it's hard when the scale doesn't show the number you want it to. I freak out constantly that I'm over 120, which I swore I'd never go over but I'm in exactly the same size in clothes and I can look at my arms and legs and SEE that I am more muscular compared to when I was 10 pounds lighter. So I just ignore the fact that I'm obsessing over a number as best I can and concentrate on the body fat % and the clothing size because those are better measure of what my body is doing anyway.

Even if the scale doesn't budge, you will be in better shape for all the exercising.

My dd, who LOOKS like she weighs 110-115 because of no body fat (I think she's at the minimum for women) actually weighs 130 according to her. At her last physical, the nurse told her, "there is NO way you can weigh that much"!!!! To be honest, had she not told me I was within 20 lbs of her, I would not have believed she weighed as much as she actually does. But her 130 body still wears a size 0.

you're probably overtraining and your body is exhausted and stalled...I would recommend a week off of working out completely...only Pilates and up your protein and liquid ALOT....It worked for me...
REST is as important for us as working out...just sayin'....I know we're all compulsive but rest is really important and your body will calm down and you will lose...SEAVIEW

What is your body fat?  I think that is a more realistic gauge then the scale is.  If you are in a size 6 you must have little body fat.  Maybe your goal isn't realistic.
I weigh 119 but my body fat is 26%.  My daughter weighs 132 and her body fat is 17% and she wears a size 0 and she is only 1 inch taller then me.  I really need to start exercising.

I found the last 20 lbs took the longest to lose.  I had to increase my calories since I was exercising so much in order to lose after the first 100 lbs.

At this point, I exercise quite a bit (not as much as I was a few months ago) and I need to eat around 2000 calories to maintain.
