Hi Roz! I am cutting back on the fruits and giving up my beloved saltines. Gonna break this stall!

B Protein decaf latte 34g
S 1/2 protein bar 15g
L almost half a cup of tuna salad 15g
S cheesestick 8g
D the other half of protein bar 15g
S vanilla protein shake with fresh strawberries 32g

I was late for work a morning this week because I forgot my morning protein that I had mixed up.  I'm not sure I could survive the day without my protein cup...LOL

What protein bars do you use?  What's the carb totals?  There are so many bars out there and it is all so confusing to me.

I use the OH Yeah bars.  They have 33 carbs, 360 calories and 36-37 gm protein per bar.  They are large, so I usually have 1/2 bar per day.  It has sugar alcohols + some sugar.  It doesn't give me the runs and it kind of takes care of my chocolate craving.  I usually have 1/2 bar in the afternoon at work around 2 or 3.  I think it also fills me up quite a bit so I'm not starving when I get home at about 5:30 or 6pm.

At this stage, I do have to worry about the calories, so I plan it into my day.  My protein coffees have about the same calories and protein as 1/2 a bar, but about 8 less carbs (I put FF milk in there also.).

Some groceries sell them individulally and you can get them at some vitamin shops also.  They are much cheaper to order online if you like them.

Thank Lin!  I stand at the Protein bars for such a long time looking at the labels and then I walk away.  I had some pretty bad ones early out but the main reason is I'm so scared to get hooked on something.  I just love snacks and sweets way to much.

Hi Roz!  Better late than never...

Had labs drawn today so it knocked my routine off

B - nothing
L - swamp soup, a piece of bread and some tortilla chips.  Didn't eat all the soup
D - steak and refried beans with cheese
S - bloody mary

Vits:  no, not today, BUT I've learned a LOT about nutrients today.  I'm incorporating some Fish oils and other nutrients into my daily routine
Water:  ok
 

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?
