Good Morning. Is VLady Your "Dealer"

Son#2 is calling Vitalady my 'dealer" and saying I've become a "druggie". All in fun, mind you. He just shakes his head and thinks it's funny that I spend so much energy on managing my "drugs" and learning everything about them I can. What can I say? It's a hobby or a transfer addiction...take your pick. Anyway, I need to place an order this morning. So, I'll catch y'all at lunchtime. Have a great Monday.

It's working for ya!  And we appreciate your knowledge.

Along the same line, when I went to CVS yesterday to pick up drugs, they had several of the vits I take on Sale, buy one, get one free.  I picked up extra multis and calcuim citrate + D + mag.  Don't know how long the sale last.  I also got some B complex that hopefully will bring up my B1.  Couldn't find just B1 but I bet Vitalady has it.

Yes she is one of my "dealers", and thank you for the reminder. I will run out of my multi next week, and love the lemon and raspberry calcium chews! Those are already gone and  implementing one batch of those / day helps me think I am having a little candy!

She has a website dedicated to WLS patients and has fairly affordable vitamins. Has many spread sheets in case you get low and many other things.

Michelle is a wonderful person who has had WLS and knows all of the ins and outs of labs and supplements.  She sales the type of vitamins etc. that our body will easily absorb.  She pops in every once in awhile when someone writes and needs help with these things.  I can't remember how many years she's been maintaining now but anytime I have a question on maintance she always gives me good suggestions.

She also sells all kinds of Protein and I think she sells samples for them all.  Which a plus when you are early and not sure what your taste buds are going to like.

Vitalady is Michelle & Don, both LONG term WLS patients. They both have the pouch of a RNY but the intestines of a DS so they have a foot in both worlds. They malabsorb like a DSer does.

You can find all her recommendations, labs & targets lists, etc on an outside website as she can't actually recommend these levels but just suggest them: Vitamin Lists

And while they seem expensive, good health is priceless. My husband has perfect labs due to her regime...even better than most normals who have never had surgery. I'm still working on mine as apparently the initial levels had to be tweaked for me.

That isn't my opinion or Liz's opinion of my labs.  Michelle told me and my wife that during her visit to Knoxville on their way to the ASBMS conference in Orlando last week.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that...I had our iPad with me and it has his dropbox file on there so I pulled up his most recent labs for Michelle to look at while we sat there in Critical Care with Don week before last. Kept her mind busy...she was VERY impressed with his labs, said it looked like he had never had surgery. That were so good even normies would be envious.
