Hello to all of our Lightweights!!!  If you are visiting WELCOME....PLEASE JOIN US and POST!!!!!    Besides my tool,  I count  Posting on the LW board as my top reason for being successful on this exciting journey!!!!

Good Morning LW's!!!  I went shopping last night for a dress for our class reunion and I was amazed that I liked the sleeveless ones.  I didn't even realize that my arms are getting a lot better looking.  It must be from shaking my Protein cup so many times a day....LOL

During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize that's even happening  because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that,  "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and  then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

Every morning on my way to work I think I'm giving my arms a work out because I have to keep switching hands because I where out my arms...lol

Be cautious of those carbs Mara.  I wouldn't want them to let the pounds sneak back on.

That would be great!  It seems like the more I walk  the more loose skin I get.  It gets to be so discouraging.

I've found that since surgery I can't eat beef hot dogs.  They seem so salty to me.  The Sugardale chicken/pork don't seem to bother me.  I've always been a big hot dog eater in the summer.

Roz, I need to shake mine with my thighs to see if that will help my poor pitiful looking legs - but I'll take ugly legs and a small body anyday!!

RNY 11-Months Post Op, maintenance (mostly, wont say no if scale wants to dip)

Curves- 30 minutes
Prostar cookies n creme with cookie dough and macademia nut sf syrups, 25g pro
Breakfast cookie bar and jell-o salad, 18.3g pro
Leftover peanut chicken (made with protein peanut flour coconut milk and red curry paste) on a salad with lite asian dressing, 21.4g protein
Laughing Cow and yogurt jello pop, 10.8g pro
Nectar lemonade 23g protein
Cauliflower crust pizza and salad, 22.7g pro
Cool white mint NAS lite ice cream, 3g pro

totals: 1136 calories, 39.3g fat, 82g carbs (60.4g net), 123g pro

water already at 64 oz and vites on track.

 7/18/10: 211lbs, 10/16/10: 174 lbs, 1/21/11: 146 lbs, 4/20/11: 131 lbs. Insulin FREE since 7/2010, "normal" BMI since 12/2010. I'm 31, 5'5", happily married, with a fabulous 3 year old boy, and hope to add to our family in the near future
