Hey LW Peeps!! Update on me...
I know it was so hard to help my stepson move to Jersey. It just gives you peace of mind to know he is settled and his home has the necessities.
I cant say about retirement but being a nurse and working every other weekend, I often am not sure what day it is! Thank goodness for my calendar. The days, even holidays all seem the same after 21 years of weekends and holidays. But I do think you are onto something with the low iron, I am even more forgetful than usual.

It is hard when the "babies" leave the next. My DD and I were and still are so close but she has lived away since she left for college. Doesn't make it any easier.

I am an enabling parent also and probably going to be more of an enabler to my DGD's!!! I have a really hard time saying "NO".

Congrats on the job. I will be praying for you to have a safe journey back. You are a great mother and that is one lucky boy. I can so see me being the same way. Nothing wrong with that. I have applied to DODEA schools on base but haven't heard anything. I think I would love it. I love my current job but it would be nice to get paid more to do the same thing. My daughter just went to high school and son is entering middle school. We could sure use the extra. The older they get the more expensive they are for sure. Guess if it is meant to be it will happen if not my son is with me at school and that means alot. Have a safe journey... take care. Good LUCK!
Since I have updated my resumes and she wanted me to send them to her, which I did. She will mail me her input through the US mail she said, since there are a lot of attachments. We'll see where it goes.
Kids grow up SO fast. Its been nice having this time with him, but we both know its time for me to go home - getting back to the "old" ways when we lived together - lol. which means he's starting to pick on me again. Its all in fun (and hey - I give it back too) He's ready to have his space to himself and I can't blame him. I'll see him next week anyways since he's flying home for 10 days for vacation and I'll be picking him up at the airport.
