Never give up
I just kept doing what I had been doing, when I hit a normal BMI in February, and over the next couple of months, I slowly dropped to 110. In mid- April, I hit 110, which was my goal and where my PCP thought I should be. Since then, I have upped my carbs and calories and have been ranging from 108-110.
So, I agree, just keep on doing the exercise and tracking your food and you will get there. With the RNY, I think the malabsorption has a much greater role and lasts longer than with the VSG. The further out that I get, it is more about my choices and habits than about the surgery, although, it certainly helps to regulate my intake.
I think that I am done. I am 4'll" so there isn't too much of me to lose. I have been weight training since December, so I have developed more muscle, which has helped with toning. It will be interesting to find out, how much excess weight is skin.
Congratulations, Price. 110 lbs may be in your future. I lost my weight without severely restricting my carbs. During the weight loss, I averaged between 40-50 carbs/day, which I needed for exercise.
