weird loss/ hunger pattern

This has happened more than once now and seems weird to me.

Being close to goal, I seem to bounce around much more than before.  Last week, I was down to 127 for several days.  Then after sitting in the truck for the weekend, I was back up to 129.  Yesterday, 129 and was hungry all day.  I was tieing it to having yogurt (slider) and protein drink in the afternoon instead of a more solid "meal".  Ended up adding another "meal" of pepperoni to make it to supper.  So my calories were around 1000 and my protein ended up around 130 cause I kept adding stuff because I was hungry.  Then this morning I got on the scale and was 126, a new low.  3# less in one day.

So now it has happened more than once.  Seems I get really hungry on a day when I am getting ready to lose.  Does that happen to anyone else?  I guess what I did was fine, just add more protein.  Seems to be working for me.

Price,
You are singing MY song....I'm always up and down (within 3-4 pounds).  I usually bounce around for about 3 weeks and then on the 4th week I'll see a new "low" number!  For the past two months I've only lost 2 pounds each month....I've REALLY slowed down but then again, I'm pretty much finished.
Any extra pounds lost at this point will be "bounce back" protection!
Weird and FRUSTRATING!!

Do you get super hungry before you drop pounds also?

I have days where I am hungry all day, but seems to be related to my hormones, but I do seem to see my lowest number every month after having my period. Wierd, huh?

Makes sense that after you "shed" all that, you would lose.  I haven't had any hormones in many many years.

Price, you have just described me! I have been at a stand still now for 2 months cant get any further than 129 ( did get to see 125 but apparently my scale was broke) When I get ready to drop a massive amount or even 5 pounds, I get ravenous and cant seem to get enough to eat! I believe I am finished losing now and am not happy with it but am accepting it. Good Luck!

i imagine you aren't done yet but just slowing down.  Everytime I think I am slowing down, I end up with a couple of pounds gone, then back, then gone.  I'm just not changing anything and seeing what happens.  My loss seems to be after I have had a hungry day.  Weird.

Price, I know how you feel!!  Mine bounces on a daily basis.  Up to 131 down to 128 and all in between.  Each day it is a different weight.  I can't figure mine out or what causes it to go up and down.  Some days when I do the exact same thing it is different the next day....  Maybe it is water.  I'm ready for a bounce down number again though.  I would still like to drop a few more pounds to have a little bounce back room....
I have added exercise back in so I'm hoping that will help stabilize it some once my body gets used to the exercise.

Looks like it is pretty common to a bunch of us, and it is all around 130.  Maybe there is magic in that number that is holding us.

I am with you on that one Price...I bounce around the scale like no tomorrow and I have noticed that I do get "hungry" for several days and then my weight will go down..which leads me to wonder if I lost more because I ate more or if I just lost more because of other reasons...
