so not what i was expecting..psych eval update

omg..so i had the psych eval yesterday...it took 4 hours!! i had take a test that had 370 questions and that i had to sit in with a psychiatrist for 2 1/2 hours...talking about my weight loss successes and failures...which when u begin talking about it it ties in with other things..omg...i felt like i was being interrogated!! anyways glad it is over!!! last thing is a nutrition class next tuesday..which i hear they will send it over to insurance after that...so i prob wont hear anything for another 2 weeks or so regarding a surgery date...

WOW....I'm glad it's over too!  Mine was short and sweet.  He basically just asked me if I was doing it for someone else or for myself and what was my reason.  If he wouldn't have talked about his family member who have had WLS I could have been out of there in a half hour.

Mine was somewhere in between yours and Roz but it was a good interview and pretty fun.  I work with Pshcyologist all the time so they are just people to me, not scarey so it was easy.  Glad it is done and you can cross one more thing off your list.

I know you are glad that is over.  Maybe you will hear something soon regarding a date.
I had to go for 6 months and had to do two different test.  We went through my entire family history or weight gains/losses.  I actually felt better after the counseling and would go see him again if I felt like I needed to.  I think it really helped me to get ready for the surgery.
