Stalled for a week.. only 3 weeks out! X-post
I know the drill. Make sure you're getting protein and fluids, watch how much you eat, chew chew chew, get more exercise. I'm doing it all! I'm working on getting more protein as I'm just under 40g a day.
This doesn't do my state of mind any good. I'm trying so hard to stay positive... but now, I'm going through the doubt stage, wondering if I'll be the one in a million this surgery won't work for. But that's BS and I hate pity parties.
I'm frustrated and don't know what more to do.

Advice would be more then welcome.
I know its frustrating but hide the scale, stay off (yea, look who's talking - I was SUCH a scale *****) and just keep doing the right things. It WILL happen.
Hang tough there!!

I know I should avoid the scale and try to think of the future. But let's be honest... when we have this surgery, life seems to become all about the surgery. Eating, drinking, exercising, measuring, weighing. I can't just turn it all off and ignore it. I want to know that what I did to my body is worth it.
I'm gonna post the couple of pics I took before and last week, maybe you all can tell me if you see a difference.
I know stalls are terrible but it's part of the process so try not to get to worked up abut it. Your body needs to get adjusted every once in awhile. Jody's right about the inches. I always lost inches during my stalls. I measured myself....there is no way I would ever let my DH see my measurements....LOL
Protein and water are the most important things for you to worry about getting in. Are you getting your protein from food or drinks? Getting your protein up to at least 60 will help some.

Oh dear.....you've definitely hit "THE STALL"! This too shall pass! I remember freaking out and then I reminded myself how LITTLE I was eating each day and I rationed that there is NO way I CAN'T be losing weight!
I was one of those who couldn't stay off the scale...no matter how many people told me to. I weighed, marked the number in my daily journal and patiently waited for the stall to break...and it did!
The bad news? More stalls are ahead...get used to them and know that they will pass too.
You are doing great! Hang in there!
