Morning Everyone!   Happy Monday!!

During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize thats even happening  because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that,  "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and  then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.   

RNY Maintenance 

B:  GNC Chocolate with SF DaVinci Toasted Marshmallow Syrup  35g
L:  Small Wendy's Chili
Protein:  Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea with a MiO Berry Pomegranate 23g
S:  Laughing cow cheese wedge and 6 saltines
Protein:  Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea with a MiO Berry Pomegranate 23g
S:   2 flourless PB cookies
D:  Stuffed Peppers and Meatballs, 1/4 cup mashed potatoes with tomato soup gravy

Hi, Roz - Yeah, a whole week without travel!  I am sure I will be restless by Friday but I am looking forward to some structure while I am home.

B- protein drink with strawberries (40 g)
S- string cheese (8 g)
L- lunch at Thai place (need to check menu online - will make sure to get 12 g)
S- protein cookies (10 g)
D- grilled salmon (12 g)
S- fudgsicle (3 g)

A whole week, that sounds great!  The week will probably go so fast you won't have time to get restless.

Sunday

B fast-2 lattes homemade 0g protein - need that protein coffe recipe...

Lunch- 4 Pringles chips

Snack- Budig Beef with 1 oz Chedder cheese and mini dills pickles.

Dinner- Chinese, did very well there!!
Salmon,Chicken and broccoli, Hot tea.

Snack- ate a batch of those protein flourless peanut butter cookies, trigger food (peanut butter) can't make again..;( (was very good)

lots of green tea,

I know i have to get better at this need to lose 40 more lbs. I have gained 30 over the past year.

Hi Barbara!  Welcome to the LW board.

The protein coffee recipe can be made a few different ways:

1.  pour hot coffee into a cup and wait until it cools to ~130 degrees, then add your protein directly to it.
2.  Mix your protein with some cold water/milk thoroughly, then add hot coffee to it.

If you add hot directly to the protein it will curdle and get real nasty.  Sometimes its a trial and error thing.

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it.  Took 8 months. 
90+/- pounds lost      
BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

You ate a whole batch of cookies??? Just a couple of tiny ones makes my tummy feel funny from the peanut butter.

You can get the coffee recipe on Major Mom's profile.  It doesn't look to me like you are getting in enough of the right kind of protein.   I don't know much about the VSG, but Protein in the key to losing and maintaining with the RNY.

Hi Roz!  Hope your day is going well.  Got your message about the puppy - I'm taking it it hasn't been neutered?  My concern is with it marking... since we do have another dog here.  I know once they get fixed and its when they're young, that can be corrected. 

B - 1 protein coffee so far.
L - a chicken thigh
S - a small portion of ribs
s - some peanut butter on a spoon
D - a 42g protein drink

vits  yes - including iron
water - ok

No he hasn't been.  My DD doesn't want to invest any more money into him.  They haven't had time to train him either.   He really is a cute little thing.  They also said that when they take him to the Pet Day Care on the weekends they are away that they said he is great with the other dogs.  I think her DH is thinking over giving him away.
