Menus and Miles Monday June 13th
Morning Everyone! Happy Monday!!
During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize thats even happening because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that, "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

B: GNC Chocolate with SF DaVinci Toasted Marshmallow Syrup 35g
L: Small Wendy's Chili
Protein: Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea with a MiO Berry Pomegranate 23g
S: Laughing cow cheese wedge and 6 saltines

S: 2 flourless PB cookies
D: Stuffed Peppers and Meatballs, 1/4 cup mashed potatoes with tomato soup gravy

Sunday
B fast-2 lattes homemade 0g protein - need that protein coffe recipe...
Lunch- 4 Pringles chips
Snack- Budig Beef with 1 oz Chedder cheese and mini dills pickles.
Dinner- Chinese, did very well there!!
Salmon,Chicken and broccoli, Hot tea.
Snack- ate a batch of those protein flourless peanut butter cookies, trigger food (peanut butter) can't make again..;( (was very good)

I know i have to get better at this need to lose 40 more lbs. I have gained 30 over the past year.

The protein coffee recipe can be made a few different ways:
1. pour hot coffee into a cup and wait until it cools to ~130 degrees, then add your protein directly to it.
2. Mix your protein with some cold water/milk thoroughly, then add hot coffee to it.
If you add hot directly to the protein it will curdle and get real nasty. Sometimes its a trial and error thing.

You ate a whole batch of cookies??? Just a couple of tiny ones makes my tummy feel funny from the peanut butter.
You can get the coffee recipe on Major Mom's profile. It doesn't look to me like you are getting in enough of the right kind of protein. I don't know much about the VSG, but Protein in the key to losing and maintaining with the RNY.
