Menus and Miles Sunday June 5th
The weather has been so beautiful here! I don't think we had this many nice days in a row all last summer (we only used our pool a few days). DH and I spent yesterday and probably today too riding around all of the farms around our house in our golf cart (boy are we old). I asked him yesterday "how stupid do you think we look and he said if you weren't crossing your legs like you were at fancy dinner people might not notice....LOL" I answered with "Hey I haven't been able to cross my legs for years!!!"
During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize thats even happening because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that, "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

Did some housework this morning. Weather is absolutely gorgeous here too. I'm heading to DD's house tomorrow and helping her clean out her flower beds and spend a couple of days with them. I'll get some snuggle time with Wynn. Stopped at a garage sale and scored some real great deals on some Leap Frog toys. Waiting for Tom to mow the lawn - I want to go shooting. He went to Home Depot this morning and got lost in the store.. hehe
B - 2 protein coffees
L - 1 piece of omelet bake
S - prepared tuna fish for a sandwich, minus the bread

D - brats on the grill a smidgen of macaroni salad off Tom's plate. Sunday dinner with Tom's kids tonight.

We went to a neighborhood sale on Saturday and DD was so excited to find some Polly Pocket sets. Have they tried the "MY BABY CAN READ" series? Our 3 yr old DGS has been reading since he was a year old. He can read story books now. It's amazing!
Good Menu!
