Mine was just a face to face with my psych who I had been working with for depression. he just wanted to be sure I was being realistic, yada, yada, yada. BTW: Been off all antidepressants and feeling fine!

My psych eval was simple and boring. I talked with the guy for maybe 40 minutes. Went over the surgery and it's effect on my life and family. We went over why I was on anti-anxiety meds, how I thought that might effect my surgery, my chronic pain, etc. Then I spent the next hour in a tiny room taking two different psych tests. BORING!! One was over 200 questions, one was 411 questions! My god, that was boring. Questions like "Do you ever feel the urge to blow up a federal building?"

Then the guy called a week or so later to go over the results and charged me a frickin hours visit for it! Jerk.

my appointment lasted about 30 minutes. she wanted to know that i understood rny. asked me about my eating history growing up and who i had for support. was simple and passed with flying colors.
