OT Please Swing Lizards *Update*
So glad JJ is improving, My dog Gracie had trouble walking starting three weeks ago.....was diagnosed with arthritis at age 6. I have only had her for a little over 3 years. Seeing her in pain was horrible. She is slowing getting better but I still worry. Quality of life is important for people and humans. I adore my dog too! I pray she continues to get better and returns to her relatively happy self!

I was worried that JJ had arthritis, too, but the vet said he must have hurt himself jumping off the couch or something. He usually lets me know if he's hurt so that surprised me. I would hate to think of one of my dogs in pain. They are all such babies it would kill me.
I hope your Gracie is feeling better. I hope your vet gave her some medicine to help with it.

Thanks for the concern!
It really has been stressful seeing her this way. She was initially given cortisone injections in both knees and hips. Was completely better the next day. Almost two weeks ago (a week after the injections) she would not walk on her back right leg. Held it up and was having trouble walking. Back to the vet and she received another injection and started on NSAIDS. Vet didnt seem that concerned. I called back last week as she was starting to walk on her leg but wasnt at all back to normal and asked for more NSAIDS. I have been out of town since wed and she has been at my parents. I get her back today at noon but my mom says she has more energy and is sometimes walking on her leg. I pray this week that I will see a big difference in her. I may get a new vet as he didnt seem that concerned yet I was distraught (but didnt let it show).
We will see.
