36 DD

I am in shock. I went to Nordstrom to get fitted for a bra. My old ones were in tatters and useless. When we finally arrived at 36 DD, I nearly fainted. But that is my size. By going there, I don't have anything hanging over edges and they look darn perky.

I splurged and bought three, two nude and one black. I threw 5 bras in the trash the same day as garbage pick up. I know me, I'd sneak them back to "save" the new ones.

Thanks for letting me share my excitement.

There's no place like Nordstrom's when it comes to a bra fitting.  Congrats on a 36 - so tiny!

Thanks. The lady who helped me was so patient. She made me feel good.Great service sells and they know how to do it. I went for the half-yearly sale, but of course nothing I bought was on sale. Still, I got the lower priced ones and it was less than prices I have seen for Victoria's Secret.

I feel more confident.

I'm not sure. The ones I wore were 40 C. I had them on the tightest hook and pulled up tightly on the straps. They didn't fit, but I kept them. I never had a fitting, so I was probably wrong to begin with. 4 of the 5 I threw out were almost ten years old. I had already given up two 42 C's. They just hung in pleats.

I figure I am close enough to goal to get something right. The ones I got are stretchy and on the last hooks. The fitter said I could lose 15 more pounds and these will still fit.

My poor old boobs are so saggy now. Wishing for a lift, but since I will be self pay, all my money will go to a tummy tuck. Loose skin hangs there, looking pitiful. Small price to pay for feeling so much better.

For years I thought I was a D cup even though I over flow in it.  I was at Goodwill and saw a 34DD and decided to buy it.  Fit perfectly.  I can't afford to even walk through Nordstrom's but at least I know my size.  Now every time I go to a thrift store I look to see if they have any 34DDs.  I have 3 or 4 now.

I splurged, but now I know my size. I haven't spent much on clothes, but the new bras make me look so much better in anything.

Now I can go to Ross or Marshall's and know where to start looking. I am always so overwhelmed trying on stuff, especially bras.

I have seen your pictures and you look good in anything. I hope your finances improve soon.

Thank you.  I wish I could get a lift, too.  I would love to have my implants out even though I would look more like a boy.  I was able to wear a lot more with smaller boobs.  Maybe, since I am wishing, I could get a breast lift and replace my implants with something smaller like a B or C.

I can't wait to be a 36 or a DD.  I've been stuck at a 38G for years.  My back hurts!  I'm hoping I lose some of these boobs as I lose weight.  Of course I dont' want to lose too much because my insurance will pay for a reduction and lift when I get to a normal BMI.  I'm looking forward to that and a panni/tummy tuck for reconstructive purposes.  I never had any hang over belly until my last c-section and something about the way he sutured me up caused it.  Now I get rashes there and in my stupid belly button.  Oh well, in the end if I can get insurance to pay for it the rashes will be worth it.

Lol sorry to steal your thread.  I've never actually been in a Nordstorms, but I had a bra fitting at VS a few years ago.  Although they didn't have bras in my size it was nice to know what size I wear.  A comfortable bra makes all the difference in the world.

Lucky girl!  I'm self-paying for a lift and reduction next week!  I thouoght weight loss would help because they would be smaller, but if anything, it's worse because they're saggier and need more work to be held up.  I got measured at VS once, and then they brought me the size they THOUGHT I was, and I had to show her that it barely covered my nipples.  Trust me, it's nothing like Nordstrom.  They are all about customer service!  I started at a 34HH so I definitely feel your pain.  Now I'm a 30F or FF on a fat day.
