Can you believe it's Friday already!!   Have a Great Weekend!!!!

During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize thats even happening  because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that,  "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and  then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

L:  3" Chicken Subway  (celebrating June birthdays today)

Hi, Roz - I am so ready for the weekend! I hope this stomach bug is short-lived so I can enjoy the great weather predicted in Chicago. Not sure what I will eat today but I know I will be drinking a lot to stay hydrated. I probably won't make my protein target but I have to focus on calming my tummy.

B- protein drink (30 g)
L- chicken soup (4 g)
D- ? depends on my tummy, probably another protein drink

RNY Maintenance-ish (10.5 months post op)

Had a rough start this morning, the baby did not want to wake up, so I was late

Curves (all but the last 4 machines will pick them up before Zumba tonight)

ProStar Cookies n Creme & 1/2 pre-workout and benefiber: 26.5g protein

Breakfast: Chocolate Not Cake (from Linda's Low Carb Recipes) with cottage cheese and fresh strawberries: 23.6g protein (just finished this, it's amazing! will make either a banana one or a cookies n cream one next)

Lunch: PB2 with NSA jelly on P28 bread, baby carrots: 19.3g protein

Snack: String Cheese, dry roasted edamame: 15g protein

Iso-Sensation Banana Ice Cream Shake & 1/2 pre-work out

Zumba

Speed shopping (groceries)

Dinner: Teriyaki Chicken Thigh with green beans: 23.6g protein

Possible continuation of shopping with DH and DS

Dessert? Peach Jello Pop: 3.1g protein

Totals: 1051 calories, 33g fat, 54.8g carbs (38.7g net), 142g protein

Edited due to glancing at the string cheese wrapper told me that the one i used on the OH tracker was off and i miscounted my carrots


 7/18/10: 211lbs, 10/16/10: 174 lbs, 1/21/11: 146 lbs, 4/20/11: 131 lbs. Insulin FREE since 7/2010, "normal" BMI since 12/2010. I'm 31, 5'5", happily married, with a fabulous 3 year old boy, and hope to add to our family in the near future

Musta been one of those days...my daughter had TWO blow out temper tantrums before I even got her to daycare by 7:30am this morning!  FUN! ;)

 poor you :P

my kid gets no sympathy, he refused to go to sleep last night and ended up with less than 6 hours, so he kinda had it coming
