what is your average weight loss? weekly? monthly?
I can't imagine someone not losing weight after being sleeved regardless if they are 180# or 280# since it is still restricting your intake of food.
I'm an RNY and my starting weight at surgery was 233. Today I'm 199.8. I average 2-5 pounds a week.

I got to a normal BMI in 6.5 months starting from a BMI of around 36. Got to my lowest weight at 10.5 months. I have a sleeve.
In general, when you first go into surgery, you can expect to lose anywhere from .5 to 2 pounds a day depending on how much you can eat, what you eat, how much weight you have to lose, etc. Once we are on regular food, that tends to slow down to 2-3 pounds a week for most people. Then, over time, that slows down to 1-2 pounds a week -- i.e., weight loss similar to what you get on a program like WW or Jenny Craig.
But again, it just depends.

I was a revised lapband to slevee and at the time I was sleeved I weighed 78kg (173lbs) and I lost weight down to 66kg (146lbs) I'm only 5'1" tall and I was comfortable at this weight even though it is way above my ideal. it took me about 12 months though to lose that amount of weight as a lower weight start pointI figured it would take a lot longer. I regained much of this weight back when the reflux & vomiting got the better of me I started having the slider foods which as we all know that is not a good choice.
Cheers from Karin (in Oz)
