Good Morning. Swinging Lizards Needed for Vitalady and Vitaguy

MajorMom

Started reading FB and OH this morning and saw that Vitaguy has fallen and broken 3 ribs and punctured his lung. Liz, 'southernlady" will likely fill in the details when she stops by to see them at the hospital today. Please keep Michelle and Don in your thoughts and prayers.

Y'all stay cool and hydrated today. Any western Massachusetts folks here on LWs, please check in. Mother Nature is very unhappy with us if these tornadoes are any indication.

Don, vitaguy, is in ICU (surgical is known here as Surgical Critical Care) and I stopped by but the earliest he can have anyone see him is 8:30. I have a text into Michelle to let her know I'm already up here.

For what happened, see their tour blog on her website. Because of the damage caused in OK on the 29th, he was worried the top of the camper was damaged and got up there to check, and fell off.

Dh is having an outpatient procedure with the urology dept so we were scheduled to be here this morning anyway.

I am going to try and see Don as soon as I can.

Will pass along all prayers and hugs.

Saw Don for about 5 mins, didn't want to tire him out. He's doing okay but in pain...even with good drugs.

Passed along all the well wishes and prayers.

oh man..... poor  Vitaguy    well  theyve hopefully  got him so  well wrapped up now  .. he might really  effectively BE in bubblewrap  lol !

Some people  just have  tendency to re-injure themselves  when they get injured ... they pull the OTHER  leg too ... trying too hard .. then the back ... Oy .

Maybe some of us can compensate forthe adjustment  required in different movements better than others ...he sounds  like my cousin Laurie .  Laurie  pulled her hamstring  then  ran over her  own big  toe with the lawnmower ( ! yep..i kid U not... )... then  fell down the front steps and broke her arm...

all within like two weeks .   We had to collectively  BEG  her to sit down lol!!

 hugs  for Don and Vitalady

Critters and cats have been in motion for Vitalady and Vitaguy since last night. When Vitalady first called me, I gave the phone to Liz because I was still driving. She told Liz that they would be late to our get together. Things got worse quickly and they ended up at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

I hope everyone in western MA is OK. I have been through 1 tornado as a child and I remember it like it was yesterday.
