Glad you have a date that is very exciting!! I remember when I got "the call" as clear as if it was yesterday...My favorite protein drink is also syntrax nectar..yummy!! But right now im drinking some protein drink from Costco, its pretty good..it was only 10 bucks for a big 3 pound thing of it...I put it in coffee and its like a mocha...although at first I didn't like any protein drinks took me a while to get used to it..so at first you might not like something but then a little while later you try it again and like it.

Thanks for the advise.  We don't have a cosco in my area.  I wonder if Sam's Club carries it....
I'll have to do some research.

Sam's carries the EAS Whey in vanilla and chocolate. I add DaVinci sugar free syrups to mine to make them even better. The protein is in a 5lb bag and is 32.98. That's the only protein POWDER they carry.

What an amazing feeling that is, to finally have that date. Don't worry about food and the liquid diet. It will all be worth it. After everything you've been through to this point, this is the last hurdle.

I had a 4 week liquid diet.  Didn't like it much then but I do think it helps you get ready, decarb, etc.  The 3-4 days were the worse.  You can do it.

You will be able to eat your favorite foods again, or have new ones.  Stuff taste different and what was good may not be so good anymore.I wasn't a big food fryer but liked fried okra and fried fish.  Can't do them now, just isn't the same (goodie, goodie).

I haven't had issues with protein powders.  Nothing tasted good in the beginning but after that, I can do most any of them.  I tend to use Nectars or GNC.  Love my protein coffee and have a protein hot chocolate before bed almost every night.

Thanks for the feedback.  I definitely need to get me some of the Nectars stuff!

Protein hot chocolate sounds delicious too.

4 weeks is insane!  I'll stop complaining about 2!
Thanks Price.  I truly appreciate it.
