Found out about my gallbladder

I have a gall bladder polyp and my function was at 32%, very low normal. So now I get to see Dr. B. next week to discuss how to go forward. The nurse is fairly sure we will be dealing with it surgically.

Glad you got some info.
Hope all goes well with Dr B. Surgery is no fun, but it probably is better than dealing with an hot gall bladder! Good luck Liz!

Ouch!  I'm glad they know what it is. Better out than in, but I will still swing you some lizards.

Always better to be dealing with facts, Liz. With the laparascopy technique, it is often out-pt. With about 500k procedures per year, they really know what they are doing with gallbladders these days. Here's to no more pain and a quick recovery!

Amy, my best friend had hers out last spring so I am a wee bit familiar with it...the idea of it coming out doesn't bother me, just want the pain to go away.

I had my gb out in 2004. Very easy surgery. And to have the relief from the pain... priceless! Swinging lizards for you!
