What a wonderful weekend we had with our DD's and Grandbabies but It's nice to be back to work and back to my routine!! The weather was so hot that I didn't have any trouble getting in all of my Protein Drinks.
During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize thats even happening because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that, "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

Protein: Syntrax Nectar Lemon Tea with a MiO Berry Pomegranate 23g
L: Grilled Chicken

S: Strawberries and Blueberries
S: 10 cheezits
D: 2 bites of Grilled ham and cheese (ham was way to strong)

I understand. That is how I was eating all weekend. Not a lot, but not a lot good either. Trying hard to get back on track today.

Got in 2 nice days at the pool, a little sunburnt but hey, I got in some swimming, so I'm a happy girl!
7:30: Matrix Perfect Chocolate Shake blended with 1 tb cottage cheese and german choco cake SF syrup and benefiber: 26.5g protein (the cottage cheese is not only a nice protein boost but also makes the shake thicker, heavier, creamier more like a meal! i totally got a miniblender over the weekend, been making shakes like crazy DH and DS love them as well)
10:00: Cottage Cheese, blueberries, kashi cereal: 18.4g protein
12:30: turkey lunch meat, colby jack cheese stick, baby carrots: 20.3g protein
3:00: more baby carrots and string cheese: 20.3g protein
no Zumba tonight, just regular Curve's circuit
Post Work Out: ProStar Cookies n Cream shake 25g protein
6:30: Teriyaki Marinated chicken thigh, green beans, 23.6g protein
8:30: Blended shake pina colada flavored :) 1/2 scoop vanilla powder, pineapple and coconut SF syrup, low fat NSA coconut flakes maybe some crushed pineapple, cottage cheese for thickness: 16.6g protein
totals: 1026 calories, 29.9g fat, 54.9g carbs (40g net), 139g protein
went down to half scoop of protein powder for my snack since otherwise i would have been at 150 and that seems excessive, not that 139 isn't high, but hey, they taste sooo good :P

could probably use greek yogurt instead if you prefer that :) i liked the cottage cheese addition, took me a while to do it after someone suggested it, i was skeptical. only downside is that it kinda raises the temp a little, so freeze for a little bit before enjoying and then it's more like ice cream anyway
