This is Memorial Day. Please remember the soldiers who have died in service to this country. But, also have fun with the long weekend to kick off summer. Whatcha got going today?

We cooked out last night and had the kids and grand baby over. I drank too much hard cider but it was so good!

Not only remembering the service men and women who died for our country but their families for the sacrifice they have endured.

Just trying to stay cool here...

I think people tend to forget the actual reason we are celebrating this holiday. So, Cheers to all of those past and present that have served our country and the families that have to endure time away form their loves ones and or the loss of one!

Not too much going on here.  Had a picnic yesterday with the family.   Today we will cook steak on the grill and spend family time in the yard.

Stay cool everyone

Thank you to the many, who in the process left their families, friends, livlihoods and sometimes themselves. Thank you for the freedoms they have given to us and allowed us to have.

I work with veterans every day and it is a TRUE honor to take care of these men and women along with their families.  I was a child of the military and am so appreciative of those that serve our country!

Blessings to all on this day most especially those who made the ultimate sacrifice.  This day can be so difficult for their friends and families.
