Where's Raggety Ann?

Save them, Tracey. You know how history repeats itself. The tools of the trade may change but the resignation speeches never get old. Umm...I hear Lockheed Martin was the real target.

Good to see you, babeee!

Glad you decided to put aside your breaking in for another day. Like Gina said, save the speech for another day.

Ruthie, my dear, thanks for sending out the rescue squad.

My computer was on the fritz, and work's really busy. Sometimes I get so busy, I don't have time for lunch. I drink my protein coffee (48 grams) til 11, then try and remember to eat some yogurt or cottage cheese at 11:30.  Then I get home and try and remember to eat a snack, do house stuff til 9 ish, then fall into bed, exhausted.  I've just not been interested in food, which is weird.

On Thursday evening, I looked at my calorie/carb count for the past 4 days, and realized I hadn't had over 600 calories a day for several days.  So to kinda jump start my "appetite," I went to Burger King and bought a 4 pk of cini minis (once a favorite of mine), and ate one and a half. Took me an hour. Can't say they were very good.  I'd rather have a SF popsicle.   I've had a sleeve, by the way, not a RNY, so I don't dump.

When I don't eat regularly, I get this empty feeling in my belly.  Not hunger, just empty.  It doesn't prompt me to want to eat.  Just like a gnawing grumpiness below my breatbone that goes away if I eat something.  Anyone else get that way?

I get that empty feeling too and mine will burn in a way. Have to feed it to make it better. Fasting for labs is the worst, so I have learned to have a protein coffee in the car and a protein bar in my pocket for those times.

Yes, I get this - especially if I don't take my Prevacid.  Do you take a PPI?  If not, you may want to ask the Dr for one.  The OTC ones didn't work for me.

This thread totally cracked me up. Except for the math, that was slightly confusing.

Glad you are alive and well Raggety Ann!
