Putting our DGS's trampoline together today.....I know what I'm doing this afternoon.......

During the honeymoon period "Bad" carbs will slow down our losing but most of the time we don't realize thats even happening  because we are still losing and we "think" we are getting away with it, but worse than that,  "Bad Carbs" lead to bad habits and  then when we get to maintenance we start gaining.

Houston was so exited when we were putting the trampoline together we had a terrible time calming him down.  We all got to try it out before lunch.  He had so fast he was gagging because he wanted to go back out.  He is so different than all of our girls.  He loves being outside.

I should be doing yard work!!!!  I lost 2 rose trees and 1 bush over the winter but the rest of my roses have huge buds on them.  I can't wait for them to bloom......

What's the recipe for Protein Coffee?  Sounds good!

It can be made with lots of different types of protein powder but the basic is the same.  I use Vanilla mostly, sometimes cookies and cream, sometimes chocolate.  Use about 1/4 c of warm water, under 130 degrees, and add your protein powder.  Mix into a slurry with a spoon.  Then add you coffee or decaf.  The idea is to not get the slurry over 130 or it clumps.  I make it each morning then use it divided between 2 cups of decaf as a creamer.  You can also add some SF syurps to it.  Yummmmm.

Not a relaxing holiday weekend so far.  My friend is dealing with a cancer scare that started as a gall bladder attack.  I am here at Northwestern Hospital while she is getting ex-rays.  If it is liver cancer. it is likely to have come from somewhere else in her body.  She will get a liver biopsy and have her gall bladder removed on Wednesday.  It is hard to wait.  I keep telling her and me not to suffer catastrophes that have not happened. 

Coincidentally, my surgeon was on call yesterday when we came to the ER.  At least I know that she is in good hands!  Please swing lizards and whatever else is handy.

 Amy--I'm so sorry.  Keeping your friend in my prayers.

So, at the risk of sounding completely dense.....what do the letters stand for?
I get "P" for protein and I'm sure I'll feel foolish for asking the second someone explains it....
