Good Morning. Almost a long weekend..

...and folks are starting to take time off... awesome! Wish I could that. Hmm...might have to work from home tomorrow since DH is taking the day off. He has so much comp time it's ridiculous. Anyway, do you have any plans for the long weekend? Don't forget to fly the American flag, please and thank you.

I'm heading out this morning to move into SC for the horseshow.  I've been down there everyday but coming home at night.  So I will be strangely quiet for a few days, back on Sunday night.  Wish us a good show with no accidents.  I have my protein packed, powders, RTD, bars for emergencies and maintainance.  All my Vits are packed.  Water, check.  Taking spinach from the garden for my hostess.  Hoping my knee holds up to the activity.  Just wish I was competing, not organizing.

And we have lots of flags.  One of the obstacles on the marathon is Memorial Day.

Have a safe trip Price.  Hope your knee holds up and doesn't cause you a lot of pain.

We are headed to Charlottesville for Family camp with the Virginia Hemophilia Foundation. Leave tomorrow around 1 and will not be bac****il Sunday afternoon. We go every year and have a great time. Will post pictures on FB when we return.
I am kinda worried about my meals, I cant plan them, the camp cooks for us. I am bringing my protein for coffee, beef jerky for snacks, cheese sticks and greek yogurt.
Protein bars make me dump so those are out. I know I can do this! Have a great weekend everyone....Oh the flag will go out today and will keep the spotlight on all weekend.

Friday is Granddaughter Day!  The scheduled c-section is at 12:30.  I told DS that I'd leave work around 2.  That should give the baby and DIL time to recover enough so I can hold her for a while. 

They are naming her after me.  My middle name any way.  She'll be the fifth generation with my middle name.   I'm so excited.  It is crazy.  She is DGD #4 and grandchild #10, but I'm still so excited. She'll be the second one in town to spoil regularly. Hopefully I'll have pics to post tomorrow evening. 

Oh yeah, we're having friends over on Saturday to hang out and swim.  It will be tough not to sneak out for the hospital.

 My 2 year old grand daughter has the same middle name as me, too.  My daughter says she didn't even realize that when she named her.  Oh well, at least it's the same name.  My 2 youngest daughters also have the same middle name as me.

 Going out to Hubby's place to finish landscaping ( moving  10 cubic yards of dirt . laying mulch , transplanting etc )    .

Gonna try not to scare anybody with  the  financial  prospects for the new loan we MIGHT  now get offered (  only a  5 in one arm thanks to hubbys unwise March  non mortgage paying shenanigans  right before we applied )  

yep hes a fiancial dolt  , God forgive me  for calling him names    but  I either walk away entirely  or I try to make this work ...  such that it is .  

As it is I think im going to have to put 60,000 grand into this to GET This loan thanks to this idiots foolishness  that  didnt need to be done ,  it will cost  that again to refinance next year -  it will cost  35,000 extra TAXES  this year ...   oh a lot MORE   but what can I DO .

Its like having a monkey  running around with your checkbook .  I honestly wonder whether a compulsive gambler would have been  less unwise simply because he would have understood money BETTER  ...  but probably  not in the long run.  

Anyway  I dont   have the income  or the down payment alone to get such a loan  so   I guess  I have to try to make it work... however I can ...

Good morning Gina & LWs.  We are going camping.  Leaving tomorrow, will be back sometime Monday.  After the last 2 stressful weeks we've had, I may not come back at all   lol.    Have a happy & safe Memorial day weekend everyone.  Cindy
