Need for prayers for my doggie...

I have a rescue dog named Gracie who I have had for over 3 years. She is apprx 6. Last weekend I noticed her limping and then saw that she was having trouble walking especially with her back end (it would drag). I took her to the vet last monday and they took x-rays. She was diagnosed with arthritis and they injected her with cortisone in both knees and hips. By the next day she was back to her usual sweet, spry self. I also started her on glucosamine. Did fine all week. Today I come home and she is limping BAD. Won't walk on her back left leg at all. Called the vet and will take her in first thing tomorrow morning and leave her there while I am at work. I can't help but worry....she is my first dog and such a blessing to me. Truly a gift in my life. For any of you dog lovers out there could you keep Gracie in your thoughts....my hope is the vet can figure out what is wrong and help her.

You got it, Jennifer. If you are in a tick-infested area, I would have them test for tick-bourne diseases just in case. Good luck, will be looking for an update!

I have been tearful tonight and loving on my puppy. I need her to be okay....

I work with the dying every day so I know that we have a limited amount of time on earth BUT I want more time!

I pray the vet can fix my girl up. Will let you all know.

Prayers for Gracie. My reskies (rescue eskies) will also add Gracie to their bedtime prayers or they won't get a treat.
