I just wanted to say congrats to all you big losers!  I generally don't participate in this thread because I tend to compare myself to others and I always come away feeling bad about myself for shedding the weight so slowly.

I'm still at 153 after having gone up 1.8 this week.  Probably due to nightly cough syrup etc while being sick for over a week.  Last night was my first night without the cough syrup so maybe that's why my weight is back down.  Regardless, I'll take it!

Hi Lee,
Don't our bodies hold onto fluids when we're fighting infection or illness?  I think my massage therapist told me that....

Yay, Lee.  It looks like we started at the same weight wise as well.  I am a slow loser, but nevertheless a loser!!!

I go up and down then stabilize and start the process all over again.  But I am not exercising enough and I know it. I just started back after a back injury and am trying to work up to 4 days a week.

You are an inspiration with all that walking you get in. I wish I could!

 Last week 121.6
This week 120.4
Total loss 1.2
This will be my first full week of maintenance!  I am a little concerned that I am still losing so much.  I wasn't planning on really adding much food at this point.  I am comfortable where I am at.  I have 3 meals and an extra protein drink a day (3 proteins a day including breakfast).
My biggest problem isn't that I am afraid of the calories.  I am afraid of the quanities.  I am afraid to eat too much and stretching things out.  Because I had no restriction by the time I had my revision I feel like I managed to "break" my first surgery, even though I know the surgeon left things too big at that time.  But I remember I was always pushing the amount I could eat, to see if I could eat more.  I don't want to do that now.  I have gradually increased the amount I eat at eat meal but I don't want to go too far.  My fear is losing my restriction.

LadyTazz, why not just eat a bit more often in the small amounts? Until you reach the no loss/no gain of maintenance?

Glad you are in maintenance.
