Good Morning. These tornados!

Saw that one of our LW vets, Cheryl, talking about heading to Joplin, MO to help. She's a nurse and I just wanted to say that even though I beat up on medical folks for some of the crazy stuff they think and do regarding obese patients, I really, really appreciate their dedication to helping people who are sick or injured. Apparently the hospital wa**** in Joplin too, so I just want to ask for swinging lizards and thoughts of support for the first responders and those folks in and around Joplin, MO.

I'm swinging for those folks and all the others who are still cleaning up from weeks ago.  What a crazy spring this has been.

My friend who was in the accident made it though surgery yesteday beautifully.  Rod in the leg and fixed the wrist.  She is suppose to be in the hospital for a couple of days then off to a rehab facility for a couple of weeks.  Thanks for all of your prayers.

Price, I'll be thinking about your friend.  Glad she is doing ok.  Sounds like a long recovery.

I am at a loss for words, so many people.. Today I am not going to be socially acceptable, I am sending as many prayers needed to all victims and anyone affected by these tornados. May the Lord be with them.

Sadness overwhelmed me last night and this morning as I watched this.  Immediately I wonder if any our LW's have been effected in any way.

Prayers have been numerous.

I was overcome by the images on tv of Joplin...it is shocking to see such devastation and footage of people being pulled out of the debris.

I want to help in some small way...will pray and think on this today

We Missouri folks are tough - and will weather the devastation. If you would like to help out, Red Cross is a good organization to donate to. I'm dog oriented, so I'll be helping with the local rescues in the area. Keep everyone in your thoughts and prayers.
