OK, I saw a post where someone said that they bought some really good Mint chocolate protein drink mix and it started my craving for Mint Chocolate Chip Ice Cream (My favorite). Can anyone tell me where to get some really good Mint chocolate protein drink mix please? I need some really soon before I go towards the ice cream isle!

Does anyone have a suggestion on a potato chip substitute? I'm really missing them right now and crackers are not sitting well with me right now
. I'm having problems with oily/greasy foods now.

I see that Vitalady carries Gaspari Chocolate Mint protein powder and BSN Syntha-6 Chocolate Mint. I also think Optimum Nutrition chocolate mint is carried at GNC. I know Vitalady sells samples, you may want to order a few samples of each and see which ones you like.

I like Kay's Natural chips, not the same as potato chips but crunchy and packed with protein.

Great, thank you so much. I will be having surgery Thursday so I am going to go back to protein drinks for a while after. I will order some and see which one is best. Great idea. Also, where can I get the Kay's chips? Do I order those as well?

pringles makes a fat free potato chip made with olean . Fifty percent ofthe calories - all carbs of course . The taste is exactly the same.

regular , barbeque , sour crem n onion. U can find em in most drugstores and grocery stores.

another substitute is SOY CRISPS which have seven grams of protein per bag ( 3 grams fat though)

- theyre filling and come in a bunch of yummy flavors like parmesan garlic , caramel , cheddar , ranch etc.

also available in any drugstore .

Theyre my choice of grab n go snack because they are so filling .... UNLESS I just GOTTA have chips lol

for a volume -for-the - calories value AIR POPPED POPCORN is the way to go ! 200 calories ( a handfulof corn) gets U a whole pot tof high fiber whole grain goodness to munch on for hours !

U can dip it into popcorn seasonings or butter buds for yummy salty favor too ...

Dont substitute microwave popcorn - its VERY fattening because of the oil ! even the "lowfat " kinds

GNC sells the Syntha-6 Mint Chocolate but I found it to be pretty expensive.  I use the Syntrax (Matrix) Mint Chocolate Cookie.  I'm not sure if Vita Lady sells it or not.  I bought mine from Netrition.com.  It is delicious and made with cold water and crushed ice it is really refreshing!!

I love popcorn!!   You would think it would get stuck but it really slides down easy.  I buy the 100 calorie mini bags so I don't over do it...LOL.

Congrats on your upcoming surgery!!!!

I think it was the Syntrax Matrix Mint Cookie that I heard about. I will look them up at netrition.com and see if I can get it anywhere else. I didn't know we could have popcorn. I love it as well. I have some 100 calorie mini bags but I could also invest in a air popper. My Mom used to have one when we were young. Thanks for all of the suggestions.

hey!  i'm the one that posted that i finally had the mint chocolate cookie protein!  it is the Matrix and i got it from www.mybariatricpantry.com.

i have one mixed and sitting in the freezer as i type this!  i'll set it on the counter for about an hour and stir it til it's about the consistency of ice cream......yummmm!  mint chocolate chip ice cream is my favorite and this is great!  1 scoop of powder and 8oz skim milk = 23 grams of protein!

of course, it's has more carbs than my isopure/low carb protein shake that i have for breakfast every morning so i just use it as a treat!  but i don't have it every day.

best wishes!!
Blessings,  J
