My 1 year labs

Please don't take vitamin A until you get your levels checked.  You are still really out and many never  need more A than what is in there multi and others do eventually need it by one year out.  I was one of the rare ones that needed very high doses by 6 months out but that was strickly based on my labs.  The range for vitamin A is usually 38-98.  You really don't want it less than 50.  I went on treatment at 42.  Ideally I try to keep my levels in the 70's now that I am on treatment and tend to run low.  I went into the hospital for a couple of months and didnt' get my A and went really low again, it has taken me months to get back on track.

You need to know though, that it is dangerous to have high doses (toxic) and low levels - can lead to vision problems.  So, please get your levels checked every 3 months - the levels can vary very quickly.

Also, after you make the change for your iron with C and D, get your levels rechecked in 2 months to see that they are working or if you need to further adjust.

I don't know about glucose levels. I hope some of our folks with experience or medical background can chime in.

While 97 may seem high, 70-99 IS normal for fasting glucose. And depending on the lab, they may not flag it as high until it hits 120 (pre 2008 standard).

So while you are at your highest level, you are still within normal. Just be aware of it for your next set.

cholesterol and triglycerides are good

spoke about ferritin below

b1 is good

High neut and low lymph usually means a  possible virus but yours are really borderline so I wouldn't worry.

CRP - is great.  the lower the number, the less inflamation in the body meaning the cardiac risk.

B12 looks good. It's ok to be higher than range.
Folate is a little lower than you  might want. There are some effective sublinguals out there.
K - Potassium is getting a little low, You might want to start a couple of over the counter supplements or talk to your doc about getting a prescription for it.

Calcium is running a little bit high. You lower it by taking more calcium citrate.

I really don't understand these things but why would you lower your calcium by taking more calcium?

You want enough calcium to feed your bones and soft organs. By giving your body more calcium, it will pull less from your bones so your calcium labs pulled from your blood returns a lower number. A good number to shoot for is 9.2, those higher levels are indicating calcium is being pulled from the bone to compensate.

B12, folate are both great.  Glucose if fine, you don't have to worry unless fasting goes over 110 or 115.

Your BUN is a little high, mainly means that you aren't drinking enough.  Trying increasing your fluids.  The B/C ratio being high only means that the BUN is high and the creatine is on the low side but the ration really doesn't mean much.

Thanks Everyone!

My new plan:

Take 3 of the 25mg iron tabs per day along with some Vitamin C (which I don't currently take)
Take my 10,000 iu Vit D3 every day again.
Take a Vitamin A supplement.
Add a protein drink.
Add more fluids.

I haven't heard a word from my doc about the labs, so I'm thinking she is okay with them. You guys are great!
