OT: Not my best travel day -- Venting

I flew to Dallas for work today.  I went to lunch with senior management.  The weather was so beautiful we ate outside.  The restaurant washed their chairs with bleach.  My new black pants were ruined from the bleach on my chair.  To top it off the food and service were terrible.  (yes, they are replacing my pants, but I had to play hard ball).   Not to mention, I had to walk around the office and the airport with big 'ol bleach marks on my butt.

On the way home, I whacked my little toe on a table leg as I went through security. They make you take your shoes off.  I broke my little toe.  I managed to control the cussing as there were kids around.  It is all purple and sore.  The TSA guy was very nice and then he whispered discreetly that my pants look like I sat in bleach.

DH is on a business trip to Las Vegas.  He's busy with his trade show and vendors ... and poker.  We can't seem to catch up with each other.  I'm missing my emotional support.

I just need to vent a little.  Tomorrow will be better,

Kay

I have to laugh too. It is better than feeling sorry for myself. I'll try to post a pic of my pants. As my sister so lovingly pointed out, they look pretty saggy for new pants.

Sorry Kay, I had to laugh too.  But those are serious bleach marks.  I was thinking faint little things.  At least there was no doubt as to what had happened, you wouldn't have left the house like that.

Sorry about your toe.  Man, I know that hurts.  I hope you have some shoes that are ok with it because it will take a while to heal.  At least it isn't freezing outside and you have to figure out how to stuff it in a closed shoe.

And yes, those new pants are too big.  Isn't it great.  At least you don't have to figure out which thrift store to send them to, they can go straight in the trash.

We aren't DH but we are here.  You can always vent to us.

This post has warped from a vent to a "head adjustment" for me.

When I left the house yesterday. I really thought those pants fit.  They were very comfortable.  They looked good ... from the front.  They were brand new.  I washed them for the first time on Sunday.

I thought my mind had caught up with my body.  Obviously -- Denial strikes again.

Thanks for the reality check!  I love you guys!
