Stacey, I'm feeling the same way, but you are too damn cute to have those negative thoughts about your body.  I've discovered apple chips and they are doing me in, so have to get rid of them.  I'm having hunger issues so I need to do the protein shake thing for awhle.

I'm a newbie too, and I know you're not done yet.  But, you have had alot going on in the last few months.  Put your arms around yourself and give yourself a big hug.

I hit my self-imposed goal at month 10 - then just STOPPED.  Came to a screeching halt even though I didn't change a thing.  Now, what that means is I hit MY goal, but what that also means is I probably could have gone lower (did get down to 121 at one point then stabilized at 123.5 for a long time - then the bounce back up).

Just keep doing what you're doing.  You've had some major surgery and your body is still healing.. give it some time.

my body does the same thing and has now for the past several months...I will weigh as much as 5 pounds different in one day..but I don't worry about it because it always seems to work out in the end and thats all that matters anyway..

If your scale said 125 and then 131 almost immediately afterward, then it has something wrong with it. Maybe it needs new batteries.

You may also know this, but you aren't supposed to move them and they are more accurate on a hard floor than on a carpet.

Also, once you are further out and get to a point where you aren't losing 2-3 pounds a week, then daily weighing is going to show you all the fluctuations due to water retention. You need to let them go or to not weigh so much. (I went for "let them go" because daily weighing works for me -- but it doesn't work for everyone.)

How I feel your pain!  We are at about the same place.  I had been averaging 10-13 lbs a month until April, and I have been as low as 137...today 141! AARRGGG...  It is frustrating!  I want to lose at least 15 more lbs, so I can bounce back up to about 130-135.  So far for the past month I have basically lost nothing.  BUT I did measure myself and I lost 6 inches  so......that is good too I guess.  But it definately is gettting harder and more scary now.  Hopefully since the rain has FINALLY stopped for a day or so, I can get outside.  I really need to work on exercise.  Lets make a pact to stay positive through this "stall" period, ok?  We can do this!!                                         Joan

Become what you believe..........  I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
