Not a Good Check-up
After my amnesia episode, I was put back on cholesterol meds although I really hoped to stay off them. Mine must have a genetic factor also.
I don't know anything about the rest of them but hope they figure it out and get you straight. I'm swinging for you.

My ALT/AST are high and have been ever since surgery. I asked for a copy of my labs pre-surgery, and unfortunately it wasn't tested, so I don't have a baseline there.
The Milk Thistle has helped some. BUT- they were high even before I started having adult beverages again. Not sure what that's about and I haven't gone to have it checked out.
Thanks for this thread. Its time for me to get my labs again.
Good luck and I hope they can figure it out for you!

Mine were 25 prior to surgery and went up as high as 138, but now back down to 69 so they are going in the right direction.
When I got home I put the labs in my spread sheet and my White blood count has been trending down since surgery. It started at 10.1 and now they are down to 3.7. Platelets have trended down also but have not gotten to the low range yet.
Do you do your labs every so often? I only see my surgeon each year so my PCP just does a few standard blood tests every 3 months. She won't do the whole list I have requested her to - I don't know why not.
Good luck with your labs.
Linda
