Two left feet and Zumba your backside
Zumba is something I haven't tried. And the classes at our gym is always so full. Maybe at some point. :)

I love my class but I'm not good at it at all. The thing is, not too many are too good at it so we are all trying together. I sweat and shake what I can. The instructor says to keep moving so that is what I do. It's fun and I believe the hour is long but it's fun. I could take about 30 minutes of it and be satisfied. LOL As you can see, I have never been too athletic and I'm not a big dancer.
I love love love Zumba! I got some slicker shoes so I could slide better and it was easier on my knees, or you can tape the bottom of your sneakers.
I always tell new folks, just get where you can see the instructors feet and work on feet stuff first - there are only really a handful of steps and if your instructor is like mine, every class she throws at least a song or two in there that nobody in the class knows, so EVERYONE gets to do whatever and smile for a bit! :}
We also have some really nice tiny oldies who just do whatever they can, some folks cannot turn around because they get vertigo, so they stay forward, just modify as they can. Its great that we have such a huge variety of people, ages, fitness levels, et cetera.
I have tried different instructors locally, and while most are "efficient" I would MOST definitely follow this particular instructor whever she would go, because she is efficient, and FUN, and encourages folks in the "do what you can and smile about the rest" part.
I am glad you liked it! Zumba turns out to be a really good exercise for my soul, its like going to dance with girlfriends. After a hiatus (vacation or whatever) I never have to be *talked back into* it, which cannot be said for most any other exercise I have *ever* done! :}

I tried a modified Zumba class but was totally uncoordinated! For now I have switched to belly dance because it is really helping me to find my ability to move gracefully. I do intend to try Zumba again though. One of the pleasures of this weight loss has been the desire and ability to try lots of new things I would never have had the guts to try before.
Glad you like the class and are planning to go back.
