My turn to rant.

Okay, my day to rant….

I’m frustrated…for several reasons.

1) My weight has stalled AGAIN and I actually gained 1.5 lbs overnight. Yes, I know it can happen and it’s better if I stay off the scale but it’s still frustrating. What makes it worse is dh and I did a spinning class yesterday morning, burned close to 1000 calories during that ride and I didn’t even consume that much during the day. So my net calories for the day was below zero.

2) MY BUTT HURTS and not from the spinning class. It’s hurt for the last month or so. I never had a big one, majority of my weight is up front in my stomach but now it flat out is gone and bony and it hurts.

3) WHEN do I start feeling cold instead of hot all the time? I’ve lost 50ish lbs and yet I still sit here in the house WITH the A/C running and sweat pouring off me. I went thru menopause already, back about 2 years ago.

No one has to give me any solutions,  just let me rant. It will make me feel better.

RANT ON SISTER!~~

I never started feeling cold.  Even during the winter at a neighborhood formal party, wearing a spaghetti strapped thing, I went outside with the smokers, bare footed with just a fuzzy thing around my neck, bare shouldered and backed, and was not freezing - just like it has always been with me in the past.

Well - okay, full disclosure - Now during the winter I fuss I need finger gloves (JUST for the fingers) and a nose hat (just for the very tip) but other than that?  I am still the same ol gal who should donate her time to families without heat so they can warm their hands around me.

*shrug*

And PS, I wondered (but you know its just a wonder) if being a serious exerciser during my losing phase kept my body's engine revved up so I did not get the cold feeling?  Course, I do not know, so.  There is that tiny bit of useless information.

Sometimes after working out, I can be up a half pound or so the following day. I don't worry about it, anymore. I think your muscles are just holding on to some water and it will be gone in a day or two. Look at where you are, after a week or so, of doing strenuous exercise. Also, if you are going to work out that hard, as you know, fuel is important, so your body may just be holding on to what it has. JMHO.

At least your metabolism is working, if you are hot. I was cold, but I was also iron deficient at the time.

The bony butt can be painful, especially after a spinning class.

Rant on!!!

Gail, since we've just started recently, it was surprising but since dh had the same problem, he also "gained" 1.5 lbs over yesterday, it makes sense.

Please Rant away!!

I know the stalls very well, went through a 3 mo stall and it was INSANE! The added weight could possibly be extra water. Personally I wouldnt worry about it mu*****rease fluids and see if it disappears. Also remember that muscle is heavier than fat, could be that you are building a ton of muscle.

Your butt hurts, so does mine! I have always had a flat butt and not it is WORSE, you can forget about sitting on the floor without a mat or something and even in the car, I need a pillow. I feel your pain and wonder if it will ever get better,

COld, I cant say anything there, I FREEZE. DH came home the other day, it was 80 outside and I had on leggins, jeans, t-shirt, sweat shirt, coat and GLOVES! I FREEZE constantly, winter was horrible for me, in fact DH bought me an electric throw for christmas to stay warm... Good Luck.
