Starting BMI 42-43 270# 5'7'
I believe I am considered a light weight but honestly not too sure. I've been reading some past topics and I really would like to hear from probably ladies that have the similar stats as I do,
How long did it take you to lose (say 90-100) pounds?
Protein intake
Exercise
I celebrated 2 months on May 8th, very happy with the progress I am making, lost approx 43lbs.
My protein ranges from 75-85
I also read someones post that they are 5'7 and weigh in the 140's oh my goodness is this really possible by just following the guidelines protein first, no sugars,no fats?
Thank you for any responses.

Welcome aboard! I didn't start with your stats but I believe you will see 140, easily. Please stay and we'll help any way we can. One thing many of us stress here is aiming for 100 grams of protein a day and many of us use protein shakes to meet that goal. But you're right, protein first, and cut out the sugar and white carbs.

Hi and welcome! I don't share your stats either, but several on our board do and will chime in.
We welcome everyone regardless of how much they have to lose!
Now - I'm 5'3" and it took me 10 months to hit my goal of 125, losing 93 lbs (started at 218).
43 lbs in 2 months is awesome!
Yep - 140's are VERY possible for you!!!

Hi Kathee! Another that doesn't share the same stats...but not too far off! Mine are in my siggy! I'd say you're on track! I lost 100 lbs in 7 months! I'm 5' 6" and weigh (currently) 132! Went as low as 127. My goal was to lose AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE in the beginning!! I didn't want to waste my honeymoon phase one bit! I agree with Gina though, you want to aim higher on your protein! No sugars & Low carbs!!! You will see 140 without a problem!!!
I set a goal of 130 for myself, fully expecting to fail (yes I'm one of those people who set themselves up to fail all the time!)!!! Figured I'd get stuck at 170-180. Thinking to myself, that would be ok....I wouldn't be over 230 anymore!! And I'd be healthier! Well hit 130 NO problem!! Unfortunately, once I hit 127, I wanted to get to 120 or lower...didn't happen, but that is Perfectly OK!!

Your stats are pretty close to mine...I think you can easily loose 100 pounds! You have already made good progress towards that goal...I think it will take me a full year to get to the 100 mark and im fine with that on most days. I try to get at least 60 in but usually get closer to 80...and I do that through protein shakes cause there is no way I could eat that much protein..still can't eat much of anything. Sounds like you are doing really well with your protein range and like you said try to limit the sugars and fats..I don't do "no" of anything because I think im setting myself up but you gotta do what works for you.
