Good Morning. Time for a quickie?

lol  Not that kind of quickie! Well, sometimes those are more welcome than something long and drawn out or dramatic. {sigh}  Lord, I'm getting old. Where did the libido go? Hmm...gone with the pounds, I think. Lost forever? Maybe. Maybe not. I think I need more hormones--these 1/2 doses aren't enough. Maybe full strength would help.  You guys got any solutions?

Oh the joys of getting old.  It certainly isn't for the faint hearted.
My libido is fine.  Unfortunately, DH's parts don't work, even with the famous blue pills because of his health issues.  So .............
Good thing our relationship wasn't built on sex.

You can't miss what you never had... I've never had a strong libido - but I am fond of the old adage, fake it till you make it. I always feel good afterwards, it's just I don't have much desire to get started. Maybe I need some hormones???

LOL - no solution here.  I'm sure DH would like for me to find a solution.  My OB-GYN is giving me testosterone injections monthly to try to get it up and I'm using Estrogen to help with other issues.  She did tell me it had nothing to do with WLS, it was just an age thing!!

After bragging about my vitamins yesterday, I forgot my calcium this morning - but luckily I keep extra in my drawer at work.....

I'm not as good as I once was, but I'm as good as I was once.

My libido is not consistent.  I have about one week a month where I'm interested.  Like Price said, thank goodness my relationship is based on more than sex.  I'm headed into menopause.  It will be interesting to see where that takes me.

No advice here either...Like Price, most had to do with his medical issues, but mine has never been that strong either. And our relationship doesn't depend on it either thank goodness.

Wish I had one too!  I can't say I've ever had a big one, but it's less than it use to be.   At 44 I probably need hormones too.
Having been sexually abused by a relative from 5 years old to 8 years old, it kind of ruined things for me.  Probably the root of my food addiction too.

Anyone with a solution I would love to hear it.

I sure don't have a solution but revenge sure would have been on my list of things to try. I'm sorry that happened to you, and you're right, it probably was the root of your food issues.
