Did they say why you keep getting openings in your scar? My Mom didn't heal for 10 years after she had a hernia repaired. They finally redid her whole tummy.

Checking in as requested. Good to see you back!
I left for NYC last Thursday and got home at midnight last night. After 4 hours sleep I'm getting ready to hit the office.
In NYC I went to a two day marathon of 36 short films done by Zach and his classmates as their second year films at NYU. The amount of talent is astounding and I'm happy to say that Zach appears to be right up there.
We walked the city which was great. Ate out every meal. Celebrated Mother's Day, Directorial Debut Day and everything else we could think of. I weighed in this morning at 4 ounces more than when I left so not bad but I was already up one pound from my business trip to LA the week before. Two weeks of restaurant food doesn't cut it for me. Now I'm home and back in my own kitchen so things should settle down and that 1.5 pounds should come right off.
Change is in the air at work and I have a very big day. I'm not too worried about my job but will be happy when the next three days is over and I know that everything is secure for me. Too much stress the last two months as this merger was being played out.
I guess it's back to protein first for me....

One of my dreams is to go to NYC. My cousins DD has an opera company there and does shows and I so want to hear her sing some time. I keep reminding my 11 yr. old DGD that when she grows up and is a Great Dr. she promised to take me...LOL

Awesome!!! Don't spend a ton because you won't be in those 16's long!!!!!! I spent way to much and had to take all of my new clothes to the Goodwill (there's some lucky person out there).

Hi Roz!! Welcome back!! So sorry about your momma's tumble... I remember those times with mine too. It's hard to see them hurt. I've been utilizing my newfound energy in the great outdoors (as in starting a garden and riding horses & quads) and hadn't posted on the board for 3 weeks or so... At 3 months post-op, everything is right where it's supposed to be and I'm doing great... especially since I've gotten back to the board. LW's rock! Talk to you later! Ruthie
