I personally am not a big fan of the 5 day pouch test or any other diet for the record . i just think it slow s the metabolism for us just the same as it slows it for " regulars " .
If I get hinky about a stall or a possible mini-gain I eat a few extra figs .. and drink a glass or two of water and try to get in a run...
for me more fiber and more movement works better than less calories ...
once again i drank and ate before i goton the scale on Sunday
Monday morning - dead center same 126 as always .
( on the cheatin lyin scale ) I FEEL very out of shape and like a stressed out eater lately because this house issue ( and the inspections in New Jersey ) have had me going CRAZY ...
so Im just absolutely surprised and grateful to find im the same .

Good for maintaining your weight.
As for the 5 Day Pouch Test, it's more like fasting than a diet...and sometimes you have to shock your system to kick it back into gear. It was a suggestion I knew of and the other one is posted on the first page...the list of how to break a stall. Now, I don't have a pouch so I am just going by what I've seen other RNY'ers do.
