Good Morning. Is there a matchmaker in the house?

First of all, happy Mother's Day to all you moms and folks who had moms. lol   I hope you all have a fabulous day and remember your moms for the good things she's done. Blessings to you all that have lost your moms. Remember her kindly.

Well, Son#2 is depressed. Not a date in the 4 years at school and the last attempt was another, "I just don't think of you that way. You're my friend but...". {sigh}  I hate that he feels so bad and that he's leaving school where he did have lots of friends who had similar interests. Hurts this mom's heart to see him down in the dumps. He's a good kid with lots of potential....just sayin', if anybody is a matchmaker or knows a good matchmaker let me know.

Yes, Happy Mother's day to everyone.  It is going to be beautiful here and I plan on being out for most of it.  The guys are taking me to breakfast before they go to play golf.

No matchmaker here.  Hopefully he will find a job in a place with lots of wonderful ladies who will recognize his strenghs.

Sorry son#2 is depressed. He's still young and who knows who will be around the next corner. Life is kinda funny that way.

Dang it Gina!!  Why now???  I need me a good man in my life!!  Im sick of the verbal / mental abuse the kids father gives me.........  just with him for the kids.........   yeah lets not get into it....  How come the 4 years we broke up I couldnt find anyone??  (boping myself in the head)

Maybe now that he is done with school he can concentrate on a dating life?

Happy Mothers Day Gina and everyone.

I actually helped introduce my DD & her husband.  I love to play matchmaker, but he is a little far from here.  I hope he waits for the right one and doesn't just settle!!  Both of my kids were older when they married.  I think DD thought she would never find the right one, but she did.

Maybe when he gets settled back into home he can find a group there to hang around with.  You never know when love will hit you!!  I think it hurts our hearts so much when our kids are hurting.

I felt the same way about my younger son.  He is such a good, sweet kid.  He had one girlfriend that he met on the internet and she moved to our area and then she cheated on him.  With his brother :(  That was an ugly time.  I remember one Christmas he was so depressed because his brother has a child and his younger sister had a child and he felt like he would always be alone.  I told him that I was sure that by the next Christmas he would be with someone special and he was.  He has been married for almost 2 years now and they are the cutest couple ever.  He is always doing things for her.  They are so compatible together.  I couldn't have picked a better wife for him.
It will work out.

I am no matchmaker or I wouldn't still be single. I wish he was about 25 years older and living in NY.  Too bad.
