Good Morning. Well, here I sit in the motel...
...drinking protein coffee, taking my morning batch of vitamins and reading the boards. DH is still asleep and I'm sure he needs the rest after all the driving he did yesterday. My back and buns are still achy and today we get to sit 4 hours in the gym on bleachers watching Son#2's graduation. I know I can't sit for long periods of time on wooden bleachers, so I imagine I'll be walking the grandbaby a lot. We got here yesterday afternoon and met Son#2 on campus. He wanted us to meet a couple of his professors he's always telling us about. They were very complimentary of him and told us he has great talent and not to worry too much about him being able to get a good job...it will come. Turns out they knew all about us too. lol "So this is the retired General". They are really pushing him to go to grad school in a year. Too bad they don't have grad school here, so they've told him to look into Kent State, VCU and George Mason (that's our idea).
I guess I'll be around some this morning and late this evening. I hope everyone has a great weekend.

I don't envy you the sitting. I would chose baby duty also.
What is his degree in? Hopefully it is one of the fields that is opening up hiring again.
Our local fire dept has their annual plant sale this morning. I go to support them and pick up stuff but this year don't really need much except bedding plants to fill the containers. All the beds are coming in fine from last years push to get perineals in instead of annuals. So we will see what they have. It seems to vary a lot from year to year.
After that, I'm hoping to drive at least the little pony. We have a fun local competition next weekend and I haven't driven him all week because of my knee.

You must be so proud of your son! Congrats!
I dont envy you with the bleachers, I didnt do well preop, and now it just makes my sit bones hurt thinking about it!
So glad to be sitting here with my protein coffee, listening to the birds and being able to catch up with the LW's this morning!

Good morning Gina. Congratulations on the graduation, but I have to say that graduation ceremonies can be grueling. I'm keeping my fingers crossed for Kent (I'm an alum).
I'm having a busy weekend with Mother's Day, celebrating hubby's birthday, and a concert to boot. It seems like when May hits, it's "off to the races" each year. It's like we've been in hibernation, and now everything has to happen at once.

Don't envy you the sitting but enjoy graduation.
Congrats on his doing so well.
