Models' trick for eating "bad" things and not wearing it

Yep we're only human . And the hotter we get the more INVITATIONS we get with sumptuous buffets of foods we LUSTED after as fatties ( OH THE IRONY , right ?)

Of course we don't want to do this and end up looking like THIS but... who can resist a tiny nibble right ... and sometimes if you don't let Urself have a taste .. well U set Urself up to make an entire similarly flavored CAKE later ....

so heres a trick that works for me and a LOT Of other people ...

I take a chitosan pill before I go ( this absorbs about 30% of the fat ) . I ALWAYS take chitosan before eating other people's food or restaurant food . Then I sip a whole glass of ice water ... again this gets my pouch nice and full .. and since im not drinking WITH my meal or after my meal I dont mistake my thirst for hunger either ..

Im usually too full for dessert but .. . at the end of the meal if I must - I'll have a BIT of the tastiest looking item on the end of a fork .. just to taste.

And then rather than forcing them down I'll wrap up a few of the BEST selections up and take them home .

Now if you have a landlord like mine( or a husband ) they' lll probably be gone in the morning unless you VERY CAREFULLY hid them which means they meant a lot to you .

In which case for me, its ok to eat a little bit ... why ? because calories eaten early in the day are almost always burned off ....

now I'm NOT talking about half a full -fat cheesecake here... I'm not talking about an ENORMOUS box of desserts ... Im talking about a LITTLE bit . And then .. exercise not as punishment but because Ull find U have extra energy ... .

This is kind of what NORMAL people do .. I just want to state that it works even for model / actor types who maintain a good 10- 15% under their natural weight ( at least the females HAVE to )

If U can teach Urself to prefer the lowfat choices like sorbet or fatfree froyo over ice cream , chocolate mousse over triple chocolate truffle cake ... Ure also way ahead of the game ... ( personally at this point full fat cheescake or even thinking about frosting makes me want to puke .. seriously ..not to mention dump... )

I'll also say at THIS point I can prety much walk away from almost any dessert buffet without regret .. but in the beginning I COULDN"T because i was mourning food too much .. and felt a lot of self- pity . So I handled it THIS way .. the way I described .

18 months later its a LOT better I'm a LOT more used to just saying no happily without looking back ( thank God for lifting the obsession) and something has to be REALLY REALLY unusual to tempt me.

And I'm sure as heck not as likely to willingly put myself in the hotseat of temptation ( like paying for a Vegas buffet lol) ..but a lot of deluxe catering comes with my job.

Vitamin Shoppe on the Chitosan - about 6.99 for 60 pills . All U need is one pill with a pouch. .

Alli is more expensive because its patented ... around 30 bux for 60 ( just buy the refills theyre a lot cheaper )

also wondering about the pills...I know that some fat absorbing pills you are not suppose to take if you have digestive issues..for example, that one that came out a while ago that blocked some of the fat I couldn't take because I have celiacs disease..I am wondering if we are suppose to be taking such pills with everything rerouted like it is..

I think that Alli is that stuff.  I did it once as a pre-op in one of my many attempts to lose.  It does work.  I haven't tried it since surgery.  But I don't have Ava's temptations either nor am I as far out as she is.

Alli  is an OK  alternative  .. chitosan is actually made out of shrimp shells  and  makes U feel full .. which can be a mixed blessing for some people  with small  pouches .

I  happen to LIKE the full feeling  .. it makes me eat less .. other people  find they can' t take chitosan because they cant eat at all  whereas they can take Alli  .

For people  who get persistent carb  or sugar cravings chromium piccolinate is another very useful supplement  - totally cuts them down .

I know  lots of people  who've tried them post  op .  No deaths  yet   .   Seriously  I think theyre fine as long as theyre not abused  ....  Ive heard of  docs  PRESCRIBING  alli  to post ops .... but I  personally would hesitate taking it every day because it interferes with fat absorption and I NEED my  flax oil and evening primrose oil .

But I DONT need  all the EXTRA oil  in fattening restaurant food and catered fare  so  I take an occasional fat blocker but only when I'm going  to be eating out .

Thanks for the information about fat blockers, but my problem is not the fat I consume.  It is the sugar and bread that comes my way.  Any advise there?
