This is GREAT! I love this Forum
Welcome Koko!
The thing about most of us LWs is we may lose slower but we usually get to our goal weights faster than those with higher starting weights. I have lost an average of 10 lbs a month post-op...alot of people would consider that super slow. I consider it fast because goal is getting closer and closer.
You will be there soon! Maybe not on the exact timetable you had in your mind, but it will happen! If you don't lose enough to qualify for life insurance in time...don't stress. Just keep the big picture in your sights....celebrate every little change in your body and energy level. Look in the mirror and marvel at your accomplishments!
You are doing a great job, keep it up!

WELCOME! So glad you found us! I love this forum...very supportive and non-judgemental!
I wish you all the best....I certainly hope you can meet your goal to get that insurance....I know that would give you peace of mind. I am a very slow loser (compared to other lightweights) but I've gotten used to it and I try to be patient. Just keep following the rules and focus on being "healthy"!
Again....WELCOME!!!

Thank you all. I appreciate your support, especially those of you who understand my situation with the Life Insurance. I am trying not to stress about it. I even went back to liquids today to see if that helps a little. If not, I learned that if something happens to me while I am employed, my family will get some money based on my salary. That made me feel better. You all are great and I just feel like this is a good place for me overall. Take care and keep posting. I love the updates, pictures, and strategies that are posted.
Welcome to the lightweight board, Koko.

Hey Koko, I started coming here too because someone "shot me down" as a lightweight. My life has been just as or even more miserable than theirs because of my weight, so they can't know until they've walked in our shoes! I don't post here alot, but I do when I feel I have something important to say or comment on! You'll love it here, everyone is supportive and helps in any way they can!
