Surgery Friday. Work Monday? Haha
So, I didn't make it to work Monday..the 8 hr drive home about did me in..I did go in today for half a day...then came home and took a 3 hr nap! Lol taking my son to school this morning and getting him ready was hard on me too.
I felt a little queasy last night..thank goodness for Phenergan! But I stepped on the scale out of curiosity..and I'm down 8 pounds! Yippy in 4 days.so excited

OMG - don't push yourself too much too soon. You've had MAJOR surgery. You need some time to take care of yourself.
Just reading what you've done and remembering back to my days - WOW, I couldn't have done it.
I took 4 weeks off from work...

I couldn't have gone back to work that soon. If you have to, I understand but really, really take care of yourself the rest of the time. You need to heal, get your fluids and protein in and rest.

take care of yourself! and give your body time to heal! rest as much as you possibly can......sip, sip, nap, nap, sip, sip, nap, nap.......and repeat.....and repeat.....and repeat!
listen to your body.....it will certainly let you know when rest is needed! i had almost no energy at all for 5 weeks after my surgery. i took 2 weeks off but should have taken more.
happy your surgery went well! sending blessings and warm wishes your way!!
