Good Morning. Busy bee, that's me
Well, I'm the proud owner of a desk top puter running Windows 7. WOOT!! My RAM issue is resolved, at least for the time being, and everything. I still want to load Office 2010 and an email front-end application. That will have to wait until after the weekend.
Work is going well and things are hopping there for the moment. I'm not sure what will happen after this contract ends and we'll have to wait and see if I stay put at corporate, have to move to the building or what. Downsizing on the military contracting side is coming around again, so we're all holding our breaths.
We're packing up and going to Son#2's graduation this Friday. Long trip to and from and a long ceremony in between. But, he's done so well, I'm just busting with pride.
I hope everyone has a great day and week. Whatcha up to?

My DD's PhD graduation was the best I have attended. Her BA was horrible, hours of sitting in the heat outside listening to boring talks. The PhD was just the Philosophy grads, MA and PhD, and very intimate and lovely. Hope yours will be a good one. I know you are proud.
I finally decided after another bad day with the knee yesterday to call the chiro. Have an appointment at 8:50. I am really pissed that I have worked so hard to lose this weight and get healthy and my knee isn't co-operating. It was orignially injured in the 7th grade and I have been babying it for almost 50 yrs. But I may actually consider surgery if that has more than a 50% chance of making right.

Glad you got your computer issues fixed, Gina. And have a good time at DS#2's graduation.
Price, I am sorry about your knee but glad you got an appointment so quickly.
Not much going on here...same ol' same ol'...

Tonight - an event at the Tribeca film festival - a sit down Kosher dinner - hopefully I won't ask for milk in my coffee ..and I will eat like a lady and not take bites of food and try to hide the rest like a squirrel everywhere .. ( Oh I can be an IDIOT like no other ... ) of course I feel ugly , inadequate , FAT , short , old .short -legged .you name it ...I'm finally getting experienced enough to realize this is the HUMAN condition and a FEELING and not necessarily a FACT .... and I 'm crazy if I deprive myself ofthe experience and the nvaluable contacts because i'm so madly competitive I MUST be the most beautiful woman in the room ( Like THATS gonna happen lol )
In a way I really like my brown hair because it allows me to blend in in a way the blond never did ... and be a part of a group instead of always being looked at and manipulated ...
Soon I'm going back to normal though ... I expect to start a TV show very soon after we close on the house IF we close ( I'm praying with all my strength that it happens
There's actually a teeny-tiny chance that I may be invited to the Tony awards this year ... this is something I never would have dreamed was even remotely possible pre WLS.... boy my life HAS changed ...
