Cholestoral results

WOW! Got some great news today. Before surgery even with medicine my cholestoral was extremely high I want to say around 346. Today the doctors office called with my results from yesterday. My total cholestoral is now 122!!! Trig.59 HDL58 LDL52. This was better than any weight loss goal I have met so far. I have a really bad history of heart disease on both sides of my family. This was news that I have been waiting to hear for a long time. It confirms the fact that I am no longer a HEART PATIENT. These numbers have made this journey worth every challenge I have gone through. It's not always easy but it is so worth it.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

wonderful.  Mine is still on the high side and I am still on meds but maybe as I keep going, it will improve like yours has.

Mine wasn't quite that high, but went down to the 130's after surgery.  It has creeped up some since introducing more higher fat foods into my diet, but still well within the normal range.

Congrats!  This is what the surgery is all about!

Did they ask to repeat--- the nurse was telling me my results (which were lower then yours) and she paused- said hum may be we should repeat---then paused and said..OH never mind..they are great. LOL  Hats off to a healthy 'new' you. Anything that lowers our risk to follow in the footsteps of those who have suffered from health issues is a NSV. Both sides of my family have major history of heart disease.
